Traditional Montréal Smoked Meat
OurTraditional Montreal Smoked Meat (no nitrates) is brined for 8-10 days with our own pickling spices and seasoned in the traditional methods found in Montreal and Quebec city. It is then slow Smoked with Maple Wood and is ready to be devoured as part of a sandwich or as part of any charcuterie accompaniment.
- Our Traditional Montreal Smoked Meat comes in 240g/ 1/2lb sliced packages. If you are looking to eat this as part of a meal, I would suggest a single 240g/ 1/2lb portion per 2 people.
- Our meats portions are also perfect for any special occasion, appetizer, charcuterie board or gift.
- Suggest warming in bag Sous-Vide style by placing entire bag into hot water after brining to a boil and reduced to medium low. Reduce heat and soak in package till heated to desired temperature for 3 - 5 minutes.
- Serve with Grainy Dijon or any preferable mustard (other than Frenches), Sweet or Dill pickles, pickled red onions, Saurkraut etc.
